A Statement of Need (Click Here) is required by anyone requesting a Georgia Motor Vehicle Accident Report, who is not named in the report. The Statement of Need must be completed and returned to the Records Office before a Motor Vehicle Accident Report will be released to any person/entity not named in the report.
How do I get a copy of an accident or incident report?
The Records Unit maintains all incident, accident, arrest and jailing records for the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Office. To obtain copies of documents, contact the Records Unit. The Records Unit is open Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM, except on county holidays.
Any party directly involved in the incident and / or accident may receive a copy of the report at no charge. To request a report, contact the Records Unit. All other parties should submit a Request to Inspect Records Form (**Link to form) to the Records Unit.
